Crossing Cooks Strait onto South Island and Marlborough

After a night in Wellington, in a downtown camper van sight, we left to catch the Inter Islander ferry to South Island.  It was a niece passage and beautiful as we entered the Marlborough sound for Piston, our arrival point on South Island.  It was a quick drive (less than 30 minutes to our destination, the Omaka Aviation Heritage Center.
